We understand the importance of your data. Companies like Staples, Best Buy and PC Richards do not provide data recovery services on site. These companies ship your media to data recovery services throughout the country. At Rescue Data Recovery you have full disclosure to your media'. We will not ship your media to third party data recovery services without your knowledge. Also, we require a method of tracking your package therefore  you will always know the whereabouts of your media during the shipment process. 

Remove the damaged media from the device. For more information consult your owners manual or  watch the available YouTube videos in the DIY Videos section. If you are not able to remove the media please make arrangements to ship the entire device.

  The damaged media should be wrapped in an anti-static bubble wrap or an anti-static bag and placed in a box. Box dimensions should be twice the size of your media.

  The box should have enough room for the media and additional packing material so that the media remains stationary during shipping. The box should also have sufficient room around the inside edges to absorb impact.

  Ship multiple drives in separate boxes or make sure they are separated enough with packing material so there will be no contact during shipment.
